Farmer's Market Bounty

Hello,
This week Goose Creek Gardens will have lots of good things at our markets for you.
Basil - Basil - Basil!!!
Regular basil - larger quantitiy for pesto or other great dishes
Lemon Basil - amazing in all dishes - try it in your mojito instead of mint!
Thai Basil and cinnamon basil - basil's that are spicier and more attitude.
Dillweed - for your fish, salads and cucumbers.
In additon, we have, Lemongrass, sage, rosemary, thyme, chives, spearmint (mint), peppermint, chocolate mint, and Greek Oregano.
We have our first flow of honey from our own hives - available in 1 lb jars.
We have expanded our products and we also now have: zucchini, crookneck squash, and zephyr squash which is the favorite of the rest of the nation; sweet green peppers, 6 types of eggplant. A limited amount of squash blossoms - last week for this.
We also have fresh free range eggs - hormone free and antibiotic free from an Amish farm in Mercer County. These eggs are also sold at East End Food Coop.
On the down side we do not have any fresh greens at this time - the weather has been strange - the greens will be back in about two weeks.
We are starting our fall plantings of greens so look forward to an abundance of great greens - lettuce - to arugula - to mustard greens.
We look forward to seeing you at Mt. Lebanon today, Wednesday; Robinson Mall, Tomorrow, Thursday; or Farmers @ Firehouse on Saturday morning.
We will be there for you rain - or shine.
